A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.
— Marcus Garvey

The Republic of Liberia is a nation of great cultural, political, and historical influence, not only over the continent of Africa, but the world. As the original signatory to the League of Nations covenant, leading to the establishment of the United Nations, as well as planting the seed for the establishment the African Union, Liberia has helped pave the way to the modern globalized world as we know it today. Despite these contributions to world history and progress, Liberia's influence is neither understood nor well-documented. It is our objective to help document, recover, and revive Liberia's history through various projects.

Through preserving and promoting Liberia's history, we envision a positive impact on tourism and the economy and an improved sense of national identity and citizenship. Future projects include documentation and archiving, historical site renovations, and education.
